Trekking Rinjani 4D3N Summary
Day 0: Arrival Day (Pick-up Service)
- Upon your arrival at Lombok Airport or any other port in Lombok, our friendly driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Senaru, which is included in the package.
- Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink while our staff provides a brief orientation to help you prepare for the upcoming tour.
- After checking in and completing the remaining payment, you will have the opportunity to visit a nearby waterfall.
- Please note that this visit is only possible if you arrive at least one hour before sunset.
Day 1: Senaru – Sembalun – Starting Point – Sembalun Crater (Camp)
- 7:00 am: After enjoying a delicious breakfast, your driver will transport you to Sembalun village, approximately one hour away.
- 8:00 am: Registration and ticket collection at the Rinjani National Park office.
- The trek will begin from the starting point to Post 1 (Pemantauan) at 1,300m, which takes approximately 2 hours.
- Take a short break at Post 1 before continuing to Post 2 (Tengengean) at 1,500m, which is about a 1-hour hike.
- At Post 2, you will have a longer break for lunch and to recharge your energy.
- After resting, the trek continues to Post 3 (Pada Balong) at 1,800m, which takes approximately 1 hour.
- Take another short break before the final ascent to Sembalun Crater at 2,639m, which will take around 3 hours.
- Upon arrival, your tents will be set up, and our guides and porters will provide a hot cup of your preferred beverage (coffee, tea, lemon tea, or milk) while preparing dinner.
- It is recommended to sleep early in preparation for the early morning summit climb.
Day 2: Sembalun Crater – Rinjani Summit – Segara Anak Lake & Hot Spring
- 2:00 am: Your guide will wake you up and serve a hot drink and light breakfast to fuel your body before the summit climb.
- 3:00 am: Start the trek to the summit (3,726m) which will take approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
- The first stage is a moderate climb lasting 120 minutes, followed by a fairly easy but long trek.
- The last hour is the most challenging, with loose rocks making it necessary to take caution.
- From the summit, you will have a breathtaking view of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
- After a short rest, descend to the Sembalun Crater rim, where your second breakfast will be waiting.
- Following breakfast and sufficient rest, continue the descent to Segara Anak Lake, which takes approximately 3 hours.
- The trail down to the lake is steep and slippery, so please be extra careful.
- Upon arrival, take a break, have some drinks, and visit the natural hot spring located just 10 minutes from the lake.
- While you enjoy the hot spring, our team will prepare your lunch, which you can savor upon your return.
- Spend the second night at Segara Anak Lake in preparation for the next day’s trek.
Day 3: Segara Anak Lake – Senaru Crater
- Enjoy a leisurely morning at the lake and indulge in breakfast while soaking in the scenic surroundings.
- After lunch, begin the ascent to another crater rim, Senaru Crater, which takes approximately 3 hours.
- The trail is steep and slippery, so please exercise extra caution and stay close to your group.
- Spend the night (the third night) at Senaru Crater rim, one of the best vantage points to admire Segara Anak Lake and witness a beautiful sunset.
- While you enjoy the sunset, our team will prepare a delicious dinner for you.
Day 4: Senaru Crater – Senaru Village – Tour Conclusion
- Wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise while enjoying breakfast.
- Prepare for the descent to Senaru village, which will take approximately 5 hours, including a lunch break along the way.
- You are expected to reach Senaru village between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, depending on your pace.
- Our driver will be waiting to drop you off at your next destination. This concludes our services.

- Trekking Shoes: Running or hiking shoes with a good grip are recommended.

- Long Pants: It can get very cold at high altitudes, with temperatures even dropping below freezing.
