The optimal climbing season is from April to December, as Mt Rinjani National Park is closed from January 15th to March due to heavy rains during the monsoon season. Lombok’s tropical climate allows trekking almost year-round, unless there is unusually high volcanic activity on Mt Rinjani. We will provide updates on the volcano’s current activity level, ensuring that you stay informed about any changes in volcanic activity.

No, the porters are not responsible for carrying personal luggage or backpacks. Their role is limited to carrying logistical equipment for the trek program. However, if you prefer, you have the option to hire an additional porter specifically for your luggage. The additional porter service is available at an extra cost of USD $22 per day.

Pick up point at the hotel lobby will be at 05:00AM, anywhere in Senggigi or Mataram. For those who stay in Gili Islands, the pick-up point would be at Gili Island Jetty at 05:00AM

You can leave them in our office or in our base in Senaru. We will deliver all of your luggage back to you promptly after the trek ends.

Arrive at Lombok International Airport. We will pick you up and transfer to our hotel in Senaru Village. Hotels with the Deluxe Service include Pondok Senaru Cottage, Sinar Rinjani Cottage, Rinjani Light House, Agro Villa  Sembalun, Lembah Rinjani Villa Sembalun. The hotel included on Standard Service will be Pondok Indah Senaru.
